About Me:

Fayetteville, Arkansas was my hometown until the age of 18. Fun fact, Fayetteville is #4 on the list of best places to live according to USNews.

I had a career in the military where I served in many roles. Primarily my background is technical having been an electrician and a navy diver. I supervisored and managed engineering related projects. Also, I was responsible for gathering engineering data and doing reporting at a squadron level.

Now I am taking that technical background and focusing on technology. My career has pivoted to coding related activities and it is a good fit. Since it worked for my first career, I rebooted with a Data Analytics Bootcamp at USC. My main areas of interest are Data Science and Dev Ops.

I make it a priority to connect with communities involved in sustainability. I’ve been a part of a few projects that were very rewarding because they involve intelligent planning and getting dirty. And I just really enjoy building things with a team!

After living in various areas around the Pacific Ocean during my service, I landed in Southern California. I appreciate this area for the mountains, beaches, and desserts to explore. I have a hobby of collecting hobbies. Hobbies I’ve had fall in the range of ♆ diving, 🪂 skydiving, 🏄 surfing, 🏂 snowboarding, 🧘 yoga, 💃🏽🕺 salsa/swing dancing.
